How to Stay Married!!!!

A man and woman had been married for more than 60 years.

They had shared everything. They had talked about everything. They had kept no secrets from each other except that the little old woman had a shoe box in the top of her closet that she had cautioned her husband never to open or ask her about.

For all of these years, he had never thought about the box, but one day the little old woman got very sick and the doctor said she would not recover.

In trying to sort out their affairs, the little old man took down the shoe box and took it to his wife's bedside.

She agreed that it was time that he should know what was in the box. When he opened it, he found two crocheted dolls and a stack of money totaling $95,000. He asked her about the contents.

"When we were to be married," She said, "my grandmother told me the secret of a happy marriage was to never argue. She told me that if I ever got angry with you, I should just keep quiet and crochet a doll."

The little old man was so moved; he had to fight back tears.

Only two precious dolls were in the box. She had only been angry with him two times in all those years of living and loving. He almost burst with happiness.

"Honey," he said, "that explains the dolls, but what about all of this money? Where did it come from?"

"Oh," she said, "that's the money I made from selling the dolls."

Women will love this.

A Prayer.......Dear Lord, I pray for Wisdom to understand my man; Love to forgive Him; And Patience for his moods; Because Lord, if I pray for strength, I'll Beat him to death. And I don't know how to crochet. Amen!

Honor your parents

Honor thy father and thy mother!

(In relationships, it's often better to be kind than to be correct).

From: Arch. Annette Gaddi-Liganor

An 80-year-old man was sitting on the sofa in his house along with his 45-year-old highly-educated son. Suddenly a crow perched on their window.

The Father asked his Son, "What is this, Son?" The Son replied "It is a crow".

After a few minutes, the Father asked his Son for the 2nd time, "What is this?"

The Son said "Father, I have just told you "It's a crow".

After a little while, the old Father again asked his Son for the 3rd time, "What is this?"

At this time some expression of irritation was felt in the Son's tone when he said to his Father with a rebuff, "It's a crow, a crow".

A little after, the Father again asked his Son for the 4th time, "What is this?"

This time the Son shouted at his Father, "Why do you keep asking me the same question again and again, although I have told you so many times 'IT IS A CROW'. Are you not able to understand this?"

A little later the Father went to his room and came back with an old tattered diary, which he had maintained since his Son was born. On opening a page, he asked his Son to read that page. When the Son read it, the following words were written in the diary:

"Today my little son aged three was sitting with me on the sofa, when a crow was sitting on the window. My Son asked me 23 times what it was, and I replied to him all 23 times that it was a Crow. I hugged him lovingly each time he asked me the same question again and again for 23 times. I did not at all feel irritated; I rather felt affection for my innocent child".

While the little child asked him 23 times "What is this?", the Father had felt no irritation in replying to the same question all 23 times, but when today the Father asked his Son the same question just 4 times, the Son felt irritated and annoyed.

So…

When your parents attain old age, do not repulse them or look at them as a burden, but speak to them with a gracious word; be cool, humble, understanding, and kind to them. Be considerate with your parents. From today say this aloud, "I want to see my parents happy until their last breath. They have cared for me ever since I was a little child. They have always showered their selfless love on me. They crossed all mountains and valleys without seeing the storm and heat to make me a person presentable in society today. I should also love them and care for them unconditionally!"

Say a short prayer for your parents now…

Pictures Taken At Just The Right Angle

Just thought of you and wanted to make you smile today!

This should probably be taped to your bathroom mirror where one could
read it every day. You may not realize it, but it's 100% true.

1. There are at least two people in this world that you would die for.
2. At least 15 people in this world love you in some way.
3. The only reason anyone would ever hate you is because they want to be just like you.
4. A smile from you can bring happiness to anyone, even if they don't like you.
5. Every night, SOMEONE thinks about you before they go to sleep.
6. You mean the world to someone.
7. You are special and unique.
8. When you make the biggest mistake ever, something good comes from it.
9. When you think the world has turned its back on you take another look.
10. Always remember the compliments you received, Forget about the rude remarks.

A HEARTWARMING LOVE STORY (WITH PRACTICAL LESSON AND COMMERCIAL VALUE)

This is a story from University of the Philippines (Diliman) about a young college girl who passed awaylast month. Her name was Summera. She was hit by a dumper truck. She had aboy friend named Arif. Both of them weretrue lovers. They always hung on the phone. You could never see her withouther cell phone. In fact she also changed her phone from Smart to Globe, so both of them can be on the same network, and save on the costand get good network coverage. She spent half of the day talking with Arif.Summera's family knew about their relationship. Arif was very close with Summera's family. (Just imagine their love). Beforeshe passed away she always told her friends "If I pass away please bury me with my hand phone" she also said the same thing to her parents. After her death, people couldn't carry her coffin, I was there. A lot ofthem tried to do so but still couldn't, everybody including me, had tried to carry the coffin, the result is still the same.Eventually, they called a Feng Shui Master. Hetook a stick and started speaking to himself slowly. After a few minutes,he said "this girl misses something here". Then her friends told the Master about her intentions tobury her with her phone. He then opened the coffin and places her phone and SIM card inside the casket. After that they tried to carry the coffin. It could be moved and they carried it into the van easily. All of us were shocked. Summera'sparents did not inform Arif that Summera had passed away. After 2 weeks Arif called Summera,s mom.Arif:"I'm coming home today. Cook something nice for me.Dont tell Summera that I'm coming home today, I wanna surprise her." Her mother replied..... "You come home first, I wanna tell you something very important." after he came, they told him the truth about Summera.Arif thought that they were playing a fool. He was laughing and said "don'ttry to fool me - tell Summera to come out, ihave a gift for her Please stop this nonsense". Then they showed him her grave. He said... "It's not true.We spoke yesterday. She still calls me. Arif was shaking. Suddenly, his phone rang. "See this is from Summera, see this..." he showed the phone to Summera,s family. All of them told him to answer. He talked using the loudspeaker mode. All ofthem heard his conversation.Loud and clear, no cross lines, no humming. It was the actual voice of Summera & there was no way others could use her SIM card since it was nailed inside the coffin. They were so shocked and asked for the Feng Shuie Master's help again. The Master brought his co-masters to solve thismatter. He & his co-mastersworked for 5 hours. Then they discovered one thing...

Globe has the best coverage. Where ever you go, GLOBE network follows

formalin in sunsilk shampoo?

Please read below..........

Sa mga gumagamit ng Sunsilk shampoo basahin nyo ito...

eiguys... alam nyo ba yung shampoo and conditioner na SUNSILK SUMMER FRESH?.. One of the ingredients of it is the "Formaldehyde" which is commonly called "Formalin" - Yes, yung ginagamit pang embalsamo ng dead people.. scary noh? (See for your self if you doubt about it).. everytime na nag shampoo tayo ng may Formaldehyde ingredients, parang enembalsamo na rin natin ang ating mga sarili.

Actually, I already called the Unilever Customer Care and confirm to them that "Formaldehyde is actually the Formalin, and they said, "Yes, its Formalin, but they just put to the shampoo, a little amount so that it is still safe to the people...".. Pero diba, kahit little amount lang yung nilalagay nila sa shampoo but if everyday tayo gumagamit, everyday din nadadagdagan ang amount na nilalagay natin sa ating ulo na Formalin.

I also searched to the internet "What is Formaldehyde?" and here are some definitions of it:

A chemical used in manufacturing and chemical industries, and as a preservative by anatomists, embalmers, and pathologists. Being exposed to formaldehyde may increase the risk of developing leukemia and brain cancer.
www.stjude.org/glossary

is a colorless, strong-smelling gas. It is widely used in household products, such as glue, wood products, permanent press fabrics, flooring, cabinets, and furniture.
enviromysteries.thinkport.org/breakingthemold/resources/glossary.shtml

Although not common as a primary ingredient, formaldehyde is present as a contaminant in many consumer household products. It is an extremely potent carcinogen and respiratory irritant and may appear as a preservative. Products containing this chemical should be considered unacceptable.
www.seventhgeneration.com/site/pp.asp

and a lot more... mag search na lang kayo if you need more information about Formaldehyde. :-)

Hindi lang naman SUMMER FRESH ng SUNSILK ang may ingredients na Formaldehyde, yung SUNSILK Repair din nila na shampoo meron din. Personally, alarming sya dahil Formalin is not really good for our health. Though maganda nga hair natin, but still.. in long run.. if we keep using shampoo / conditioner na may content na Formaldehyde, bka preserve na ang body natin even if we are still alive. What's the use of the good looking hair, if our health is in at risk..

This e-mail is not for making bad impression to Sunsilk shampoo/conditioner. I just want to share my opinion regarding this alarming discovery. It's up to you if you would care to think / reflect about it or not.

Disclaimer:
I have nothing against the SUNSILK SHAMPOO, its just that.. so far, sa Sunsilk ko lang kasi nakita ang Formaldehyde na content.

For Your Information.

Have a Nice Day!!

Thought you would enjoy from a mothers' point of view

After 21 years of marriage, my wife wanted me to take another woman out to dinner and a movie. She said, 'I love you, but I know this other woman loves you and would love to spend some time with you.'

The other woman that my wife wanted me to visit was my Mother, who has been a widow for 19 years, but the demands of my work and my three children had made it possible to visit her only occasionally.

That night I called to invite her to go out for dinner and a movie.

'What's wrong, are you well,' she asked? My Mother is the type of woman who suspects that a late night call or a surprise invitation is a sign of bad news.

'I thought that it would be pleasant to spend some time with you.

I responded "just the two of us".

She thought about it for a moment, and then said, "I would like that very much".

That Friday after work, as I drove over to pick her up I was a bit nervous. When I arrived at her house, I noticed that she, too, seemed to be nervous about our date. She waited in the door with her coat on. She had curled her hair and was wearing the dress that she had worn to celebrate her last wedding anniversary.

She smiled from a face that was as radiant as an angel's. 'I told my friends that I was going to go out with my son, and they were impressed,' she said, as she got into the car. 'They can't wait to hear about our meeting.' We went to a restaurant that, although not elegant,
was very nice and cozy. My Mother took my arm as if she were the First Lady.

After we sat down, I had to read the menu. Her eyes could only read large print. Half way through the entries, I lifted my eyes and saw Mother sitting there staring at me. A nostalgic smile was on her lips.

"It was I who used to have to read the menu when you were small, 'she said.

'Then it's time that you relax and let me return the f avor,' I responded.

During the dinner, we had an agreeable conversation nothing extraordinary but catching up on recent events of each other's life. We talked so much that we missed the movie. As we arrived at her house later, she said, 'I'll go out with you again, but only if you let me
invite you". I agreed. 'How was your dinner date?' asked my wife when I got home. 'Very nice, Much more so than I could have imagined,' I answered.

A few days later, my Mother died of a massive heart attack.

It happened so suddenly that I didn't have a chance to do anything for her.

Some time later, I received an envelope with a copy of a restaurant receipt from the same place Mother and I had dined.

An attached note said: "I paid this bill in advance. I wasn't sure that I could be there;
but nevertheless, I paid for two plates - one for you and the other for your wife. You will never know what that night meant for me. I love you, Son".

At that moment, I understood the importance of saying in time: "I love YOU" and to give our loved ones the time that they deserve. Nothing in life is more important than your family. Give them the time they deserve, because these things cannot be put off till 'some other time.'

Somebody said it takes about six weeks to get back to normal after you've had a baby.... somebody doesn't know that once you're a Mother, 'normal' is history.

Somebody said you can't love the second child as much as you love the first....

somebody doesn't have two or more children...

Somebody said the hardest part of being a Mother is labor and delivery....

somebody never watched her 'baby' get on the bus for the first day of kindergarten ...

or on a plane headed for military 'boot camp.'

Somebody said a Mother can stop worrying after her child gets married ....

somebody doesn't know that marriage adds a new son or daughter-in- law to a Mother's heartstrings. ..

Somebody said a Mother's job is done when her last child leaves home....

somebody never had grandchildren. ..

Somebody said your Mother knows you love her, so you don't need to tell her....

somebody isn't a Mother.

This isn't just about being a Mother; it's about appreciating the people in your lives while you have them....no matter who that person is.
